Inspired by the double-slit experiment, Emergence considers the moment when unseen possibilities become observable reality. Across three walnut panels, paired aluminum forms retain identical brushed-metal tops while their painted sides transition from black to white. The asymmetrical middle panel represents a state of transformation, bridging the invisible and the visible. Rather than illustrating quantum mechanics, the work reflects on a broader question: how does reality emerge from what cannot itself be seen?
