Wall Studies are an ongoing series of wall sculptures that pairs naturally figured hardwoods with precision-machined aluminum. Each sculpture begins with the wood's existing features—voids, fissures, knots, and grain patterns—which are preserved rather than concealed. Geometric interventions respond to these conditions, exploring themes of order and disorder, vulnerability and resilience, natural history and human design. No two works are identical; each is a site-specific response to the material from which it is made.
